IMPORTANT: replace your cotton wick now to improve humidity control in Sproushi The cotton wick currently placed inside your Sproushi can sometimes give inconsistent humidity output. Now we are shipping out a custom sized - improved - version with every order.

1️⃣ Where to find the new cotton wick?

• US customers: in the box of your mushroom capsules
• EU customers: in the box of your order, there should be 2 loose wicks added Don’t have the new cotton wick? Simply order mushroom capsules and you will get one for free. For now: now need to do anything. Your Sproushi should function with the original wick.

2️⃣ How to place this new wick

• Take out the humidifier
• Remove the cylinder wick holder tube
• Remove and discard the old wick AND the tiny spring at the bottom (essential)
• Place the new cotton wick

Now let’s ensure your Sproushi is fully functional!

Take 2-minutes to check the following: airflow, humidity, sensor, enclosure, firmware and camera.

👉 First, start up Sproushi to test all components

• [ ] Fill the water tank with up to 600ml (2½ cups) of water → pour directly over the water tank lid

  

• [ ] Use touch screen to pick any mushroom and press “Start” → check if screen displays Primordia

  

💨 1. Fan

• [ ] Place your hand over the side vent → you should feel a gentle but noticeable airflow

No airflow? Try stopping your current grow program by tapping “remove mushroom” and start a new grow program.

💧 2. Humidifier

• [ ] Look inside to see if big clouds are forming → it should be obvious, not a small puff of mist

Don’t see any humidity clouds or only weak ones? Try the following:

• Take out the humidifier
• Pull out the black cylinder to reveal the white cotton wick
• Take out the cotton wick and flip it: The wet bottom side of the wick is now directly touching the humidifier and should make it start easier
• Put everything back in place and try again! </aside>
