Yes — you can grow mushrooms without the app, but with a few limitations.

Here’s what works without the app:

• Sproushi will run a basic grow program on autopilot
• Humidity and airflow are maintained at default levels
• You’ll still be able to grow mushrooms (yay!)

However, you’ll miss out on key features that significantly improve your results:

• 🔄 AI assistance won’t activate (the app is required for AI-guided growth)
• 🎥 No access to the camera or timelapse video recording
• 💡 No lighting schedule controls
• 📈 No real-time data or remote status updates

➡️ Important: Without the app, you’ll need to manually press “Primordia” on Sproushi once your mushrooms start pinning (you’ll see little baby mushrooms forming). This tells the device to switch to the next growth phase with updated humidity, airflow, and lighting.
