⚠️ IMPORTANT: Checklist before you start
✅ Your phone is connected to the Wifi that you want your Sproushi to connect to
✅ This Wifi is 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz) and has a password set
👉 If it is not, you can go to the advanced settings of your router to enable 2.4 GHz or create a password-protected guest network dedicated to Sproushi
✅ The time is set on your Sproushi (the screen below should not appear anymore)

❤ Troubleshooting: Common Pairing Issues
Use this section if the app isn’t letting you continue, or something doesn’t look right during setup.
🔸 Device appears in app but says “Wifi connection lost” or does not respond
The good news is, your Sproushi is paired.
The bad news is, it does not have internet connection.
This can mean one of four things:
- Your Sproushi is placed too far from the Wi-Fi router
🫴 Move it closer so it has a strong signal. This did not solve the issue? Continue to step 2.
- Initial wifi connection failed for various reasons.
🔌 Power cycle your Sproushi → Simply unplug it from power for 5 seconds and plug it back in.
Stuck in an endless loading loop? Power cycle again until that is gone.
If the error still shows up or your Sproushi is unresponsive? Continue to the next step.
- You’ve connected Sproushi to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network
⚠️ Sproushi only works with 2.4 Ghz networks. Reconnect Sproushi using the steps below
- A wrong Wi-Fi password was entered
🔑 Reconnect Sproushi using the steps below and enter the correct details

📶
Reconnect Sproushi to WiFi
- From the Home screen, tap the ⋯ (three dots) on the top right of your Sproushi device
- Select Change WiFi details
- On your phone: enable Bluetooth and connect to your home WiFi
⚠️ connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network as Sproushi will not work on 5 GHz
- On your Sproushi: press and hold the physical button for 5 seconds until it enters pairing mode (pulsing light)
- Back in the app: Tap “Next” then re-enter your Wi-Fi password and finish setup
Quick hint:
If your Wi-Fi name ends in something like “_5G”, “5GHz”, or “Fast”, it’s usually 5 GHz.
🔧 If you’re on 5 GHz
- Switch to your 2.4 GHz network (often named the same, without “5G”), or
- Temporarily disable 5 GHz in your router settings, pair Sproushi, then re-enable it
Once connected, Sproushi will stay connected 👍
