🔸 Device appears in app but says “Wifi connection lost” or does not respond

The good news is, your Sproushi is paired. The bad news is, it does not have internet connection.

This can mean one of four things:

  1. Your Sproushi is placed too far from the Wi-Fi router đź«´ Move it closer so it has a strong signal. This did not solve the issue? Continue to step 2.
  2. Initial wifi connection failed for various reasons. 🔌 Power cycle your Sproushi → Simply unplug it from power for 5 seconds and plug it back in. Error still shows up or your Sproushi is unresponsive? Continue to the next step.
  3. You’ve connected Sproushi to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network ⚠️ Sproushi only works with 2.4 Ghz networks. Reconnect Sproushi using the steps below
  4. A wrong Wi-Fi password was entered 🔑 Reconnect Sproushi using the steps below and enter the correct details

Reconnect Sproushi

Quick hint: If your Wi-Fi name ends in something like “_5G”, “5GHz”, or “Fast”, it’s usually 5 GHz.

🔧 If you’re on 5 GHz

Once connected, Sproushi will stay connected 👍

If you have tried all of the above and nothing works, it is time to reset your device using the steps below 👇

How do I perform a device reset?

✅ Can’t press “Next” on the pairing screen?

→ Turn on Bluetooth first, then tap “Refresh.”

âť“ No Wi-Fi name appears?

→ Make sure mobile data (5G/4G) is OFF and you’re only on Wi-Fi.

📵 Shows <Unknown SSID>?

→ Allow Location access for the Sproushi app in your phone settings.

⚠️ "Device already registered" error?

→ It’s likely paired, but Wi-Fi setup got interrupted. Tap the 3 dots (…) → "Change Wi-Fi details" and try again.

🔄 Still stuck?

→ Hold Sproushi’s physical button for 5 seconds to re-enter pairing mode, then retry from the app.
